Averaging 350 sunny days a year, Yuma is the perfect home for Marine Corps Air Station. Primarily a pilot training facility, the station conducts various large-scale military exercises and also hosts an annual air show. Yuma is also home to the U.S. Army Proving Ground, a multi-purpose testing facility working with nearly every commodity in the ground combat arsenal. A 30 minute drive northwest can put you right at its doorstep.

Yuma is also filled with a limitless array of outdoor excitement. The Colorado River runs along the north and west side of town. Martinez Lake is only a 30 minute drive north and is perfect for water sports of all kinds, and the famous Imperial and Glamis Dunes are 40 miles west, making Ramada the most convenient in Yuma, AZ, hotels.
